Disciplining Disappointments

If you know the end results of a game does it change the way you play? If you know that your team is going to win does it change the way you feel during the game? If you knew you were going to lose....would you even show up? If you had a fortune teller that could see in to your future and predict wether you would be successful or not would it change your day to day actions? For most of us knowing does make a difference. If we know we are going to win we aren't nearly as anxious while we play, because we EXPECT to win.
So, where are you in your business? Do you expect to win? If you don't expect to win...why are you even trying? If you "know" in the end you are going to be succesful, wealthy, and wise then your actions will indicate that. If you expect to lose or hope to not lose your actions will show this also. If you are just trying "not to lose" you are not truly playing "to win". It sounds silly, but your mindset will determine wether you win or lose.
When someone doesn't follow through in your business do you fall apart? Or do you just move on to solve the next problem? Things aren't always going to go as planned. WE have to be BIGGER than our problems. If our problems are bigger than us they will swallow us. Two people can be faced with the exact same problem and one will overcome it and the other will be overcome by the problem. The difference is in our reaction to the problem. Do you have sleepless nights about problems? If you do...you need to discipline your disappointments. Are you on an emotional roller coaster with your business? You need to discipline your disappointments. If you KNOW you are going to win you won't lose sleep over the problems that happen along the way. Our minds need to be so set on EXPECTING to win that the problems that come up in our businesses or life don't overwhelm us.
If you can have the same reaction to success or failiure you will succeed. KNOW that you are going to win! KNOW that you will be successful. Once you KNOW what your end result will be...just enjoy the ride!!! Nothing will be too big of a problem that you can't overcome.
